Common Questions

We encourage our clients to ask questions if they are curious, and we welcome you down to our shop to see the studio.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

You must be a minimum of 18 years of age with a current and valid government issued identification. We accept a drivers license, passport or age of majority cards. Health cards are not accepted.

What if I want a custom tattoo?

We offer free consultations, which enable the client to meet with their desired artist and discuss their tattoo ideas in person before the tattoo appointment. Consultations are encouraged for first-timers and required for all custom pieces.

What are the methods of payment?

We only accept cash payment. We also offer gift certificates in any amount. Gift certificates do not expire.

What is your cancellation policy?

48 hours notice is required for reschedule/cancellation of an appointment or the deposit will be void.
You must speak directly with staff during studio hours of operation in order to maintain deposit integrity
(no voicemails, emails or social media).

Do you take walk ins?

Walk ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Availability will be determined by design and
time required. Appointments are preferred.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The studio minimum is $100 and our hourly rate is $150 per hour. Price quotes can only be accurately provided with an in-studio consultation and will not be given over telephone, email or social media.
Free consultations are provided with a tattoo artist.
A minimum $80 non-refundable deposit is required to have the artist design custom work and to book appointments (deposit amount will be deducted from the total on appointment day).

How do I take care of the tattoo once it is completed?

Aftercare instructions are provided verbally and in writing for all clients. We believe proper healing is a critical part of any tattoo outcome and is a client responsibility. Feel free to call us if you aren’t sure about something. That’s what we’re here for!

Does it hurt?

Yes, it hurts. But, there are lots of people walking around with tattoos so it’s not unbearable. There are many sensations used to describe it depending on each person and what area is being worked on.

What about touch up work?

Any touch up work that may be required will be determined by the tattoo artist in person/in studio (within a reasonable time frame of 3 months of original tattoo session) and will be performed according to the tattoo artist schedule and convenience. A minimum charge will be applied for any touch up work on hands, feet and/or client negligence.
